Instructions & Advice for Event Photographers

Thank you for signing up to be a yearbook event photographer! We appreciate your help and look forward to a great yearbook this year!

As event photographer, your main job is to show up on the date of the event and take photos. Please make sure your camera is set to the one of the highest resolution available to you.

Anything you can capture will be great! But here are a few helpful hints:

Try to capture as many different individuals as possible; every child likes to see him- or herself in the yearbook

Try to shoot different quantities of people: some of one person, some of 2 people, some of 3, etc.

Try to get a mix of kids “doing something” and quieter, contemplative shots

Try to get down to their level, as opposed to shooting down on the kids.

Whenever you have a batch of photos, here are uploading instructions:

Upload yearbook pictures here.
After the photos are uploaded, please type in as much identifying information as possible: the childrens’ names, grade or teacher are all helpful.

And finally, all photos need to be uploaded by Friday, Feb 3. And thanks again for your time and effort!
