The Parent Learning Network is excited to host McKenzie’s 2nd Annual Tech Night. On Tuesday, January 24th from 6:30 to 8:15pm, McKenzie staff will guide us through a fun evening of interactive learning.
This year our focus is presenting ways in which parents and students can use technology to CONNECT learning between home and school. Registration is now open.
Below you will find brief descriptions of the mini-sessions being offered. Each “parent–student” team is invited to participate in one or both sessions during the evening. A team might consist of one parent and one child (Gr. K-4 only) or different configurations of parents/children that make up a family ‘team’. Our intention is to provide a fun and engaging evening of learning, bringing families together through the use of technology. Advanced registration is required as seating is limited. Space will be filled on first-come-first-served basis. We will do our best to accommodate as many interested families as possible.
Doors will open at 6:15pm, with the first session beginning at 6:30 pm. When you arrive in the lobby, please check-in at the registration table where you will get your name badge indicating your session(s) and their location(s).
This no-cost, PTA-sponsored event is open to McKenzie parents and current McKenzie students only. Childcare will not be available. Don’t delay in signing up, as registration closes on Thursday, January 19th.
Looking forward to share a fun-filled evening of 21st Century Learning with you!
