Friday, October 13, 5:30 – 8 p.m. Time to volunteer! Fall Frenzy is our annual, indoor festival for the whole family. With tons of games, crafts, dancing, yummy treats, and more – everyone has a super fun time. Because it’s one of McKenzie’s largest events, it requires a lot of help. There are many volunteer opportunities. Please sign up to make this year another success!

Fine Arts is a parent-led iGNITE program that brings 2 curriculum-related art projects to each classroom this year. We provide the projects and the materials, and are looking for 5 volunteers from each class to present the materials to the class.
Want to learn technology skills and be an integral part of the McKenzie PTA and your children’s school? The PTA is looking for a webmaster and a webmaster assistant.
Outdoor Classroom is a time when the McKenzie Gardens are open to the students during lunch/recess times. It’s a fun opportunity for parents to interact with the kids as they explore the gardens, dig in the dirt, help with weeding/watering and create an art project.
Fall is an exciting time as vegetables will be harvested and the garden is in full bloom. Come spend some time with your kids and their friends!more >>

The Yearbook committee needs your help!
The cafeteria staff counts on parent volunteers to help serve lunch on a daily basis. Without the parents, the staff would not be able to prep, cook, serve, monitor the line and clean up. The PTA has come up with a way to help them out, by providing parent volunteers to help serve and monitor the lines. more >>
