How do I know if my registration is complete?
Once you have completed registration and payment, you will receive a confirmation from Paypal.
If you do not receive a confirmation from Paypal, the registration has not been completed!  If you do not have access to the email account used with PayPal, please refer to these instructions to check your PayPal account or get a copy of your receipt.

I tried to register for a McClub, but it was full. Is there a waiting list and how do I get my child on the waiting list?
McClubs keeps a waiting list for any club that is full. If you would like to be added to a waiting list, please email McClubs (mcclubs [at] mckenziepta [dot] com) with (1) your child’s name, grade and teacher, and (2) the name of the club they would like to be on the waiting list for.

I missed the registration deadline – can I still register my child for a McClub?
There is no late registration. Once registration is closed, we are unable to register any more students for McClubs.

What times do the clubs meet?
Morning Clubs begin at 8:00 am and end at 8:45 am. Students will be dismissed to their classrooms after morning McClubs.
Afternoon Clubs begin at 3:20 pm and end at 4:15 pm. Students should be picked up promptly at 4:15.

Where do I pick up my child after the club is done for the day?
If your child’s club is held in one of the gyms, pick-up is at the North side of the building at the entrance to the gym from the outside. If your child’s club was held in a classroom in school (other than Kindergarten Mandarin Chinese), you should pick up in the school lobby. Pick-up for children taking the Kindergarten Mandarin Chinese club will be at the Kindergarten entrance on the South side of the school. Remember there is no bus service.

Do McClubs meet on early dismissal days?
McClubs that meet in the mornings will meet on early dismissal days.  However, afternoon McClubs will not meet on days where the school has early dismissal.

Can my child walk home alone after his/her McClub is over?
Instructors will wait with the children until they are picked up by a parent.  If your child will be walking home or will be picked up by another person other than a parent, please inform the instructor in writing.

Where does my child’s McClub meet?
The McClubs descriptions and schedule each has the locations of each McClub. Once registration is complete, an email will also be sent out with the details of where each McClub meets.

Do I need to contact the instructor if my child is not attending one day?
If your child was in school but is not planning to attend McClubs, please notify the school office at 847.251.2295 x6304. If your child was not at school, he/she may not attend that day’s McClubs.

My child has special needs. Can he/she enroll in McClubs?
McClubs are open to all McKenzie students. Any student with special needs may request a paraprofessional to attend the McClub with the student.

If my child has special needs and requires a paraprofessional to attend McClubs with him/her, how do I request assistance?
If your child needs special accommodations, there is a box in the registration process that you can check to request assistance. McClubs committee members will initiate the process and the parapro will be compensated from D39.
