Beyond Pencils & Gluesticks
Once again, the McKenzie PTA will be offering Beyond Pencils & Gluesticks Grants. In the past, McKenzie parents and teachers were surveyed for ideas pertaining to the PTA’s annual gift to the school. Many responses suggested that the McKenzie staff would be in the best position to identify the greatest educational needs and opportunities for our students. To that end, any McKenzie staff member is invited to apply for this one-time per year funding opportunity.
The PTA Executive Board will look for innovative proposals that:
Enrich the educational experience of many students
Motivate and inspire both educators and students
Encourage staff to work collaboratively
Foster a sense of community
Are cost effective
The PTA is excited to support the creativity and innovation of McKenzie staff to enhance learning!
