Meet the Directors & Producers
Dane - CO-DIRECTOR
This is Dane’s third Variety Show. He has been a pirate, Darth Vader, glittery Gaga dad, yellow guitar flinger, and many more crazy characters on the Variety Show stage. Off the stage, he is the proud dad of Lola (3rd grade). He thanks his wife, Jen, for supporting this wild journey both at home and in the show. After thinking about and planning the Variety Show full time, Dane’s other full time job is as a Software Developer with Vivid Seats. In the Variety Show offseason, you can find Dane enjoying nature with his family through camping, hiking, and paddleboarding.
Jeff - CO-DIRECTOR
Jeff will be participating in his third Variety show this year and is looking forward to improving his hip-hop and tap skills as those are his favorite numbers to be in. He also enjoys helping other Dads figure out how to dance with 2 left feet and embarrass themselves for the enjoyment of the kids.
Jeff’s main hobby is overcommitting to things which his amazing wife, Nicole, supports by holding the family together every day.
Jeff spends his non-Variety Show time working at Pwc as a Partner in their Cyber, Risk and Regulatory group. He is also a board member at Honeycomb Project which provides family focused volunteer opportunities that he does monthly with his family.
Julieta LaMalfa - PRODUCER
This is Julieta’s 7th Variety Show, after claiming that performing was not a core competency or on her wish list. Today, the magic of the VS is something she would not miss. She is the proud mom of Gio (Seventh grade, at Highcrest) and Nico (Fourth grade, at McK!). She has been married to Steve for over a decade. By day, she is the CFO of a start-up and spends time volunteering for multiple under-resourced and underrepresented communities. She loves to dance, eat, laugh, and spend time with family and friends.
