Sign Up Parties
What are sign-up parties?
Parents or groups of parents host and pay for a party/event. McKenzie families purchase tickets to the parties and 100% of the ticket sales for each event goes directly to the McKenzie PTA to support current fundraising initiatives. This is a fun and easy way to get involved, meet new people and raise funds for our school! Sign-up parties can be for adults only, kids only, or the whole family.
How and when do you buy tickets?
Tickets for sign-up parties go on sale at a specified date and time, typically in late October. Tentative – tentative launch for ticket sales for current year sign-up parties will be Sunday, October 22nd, at 8PM. The McKenzie PTA uses ClickBid Mobile to manage our sign-up party fundraising initiative. You will receive an email with instructions and additional information on how to log in and view sign-up parties closer to the launch date. Tickets will be available to purchase until the party is sold out.

Sign-Up Party FAQs
Q. Who pays for the Sign-Up Party? The party host(s) pay for the sign-up party. The efforts to organize and host the party are your donation to McKenzie. Co-hosting a party with one or more families is a great way to share in the planning and party costs!
Q. What kind of party can I host? Anything you, your friends, or your family likes to do that you want to share with our McKenzie community! The party or event can be held at your home, a restaurant, or another venue. See the “Sign-Up Party Ideas” list above for some possibilities.
Q. How many guests should attend my Sign-Up Party? The number of guests depends on what you are going to do and how much space you have. This will determine the number of tickets available to sell for the party you are hosting.
Q. How much do I charge for each Sign-Up Party ticket? Ticket prices will vary depending on the Sign-Up party. Consider what you are offering at the party and set the cost appropriately. Your McKenzie Fundraising Committee can help provide suggested ticket pricing if needed!
Q. When do I throw my Sign-Up Party? You can host parties all year long, even in the summer! They can be indoor, outdoor, at night, or in the morning depending on what makes sense for your party or event.
Q. What if I can no longer attend a party I purchased tickets for? If you purchased tickets to a sign-up party but can no longer attend, we encourage you to resell your tickets to another McKenzie family via the McKenzie Facebook page. Parties often sell out quickly and there are usually families looking to buy tickets still. If you need help reselling your tickets to a party, please reach out to your McKenzie Fundraising team listed in the "Contact Us" section below.
