McKenzie Garden Volunteers
Volunteer in the McKenzie Garden!
All students will be given the option to visit the garden during recess on Mondays and Fridays and join in the activities that are planned for the day during this time block. Garden activities might typically include:
Garden work (weeding, watering, raking, sweeping)
Lawn games
Crafts
Chalk, etc.
We need help from parents to continue this beloved tradition. A member of the garden committee will be there each day the garden is open as a point person for volunteers. No need for a green thumb, just come ready to help and participate in facilitating activities—tools and materials are provided. This is also a great volunteer opportunity for grandparents who enjoy gardening!
