McKenzie Elementary School families are invited to join together to ensure that the third-fifth grade students at our sister school, Carman-Buckner, will receive a toy this holiday season. Help us reach our goal of 200 toys by signing up here.

Skyline Studios and McKenzie School are pleased to announce Beauty and the Beast Jr. coming this winter/spring for interested third and fourth grade McKenzie students.

Yearbook Cover Contest starts now!

4th Grade McKenzie students are invited to draw their favorite McKenzie-inspired artwork for the yearbook. Entries due to the front desk by F 10/13. For rules and contest template, please click here.

McKenzie Book Fair!

McKenzie's Book Fair will be open October 10 - 13, and we need lots of volunteers to make it a success. 50% of all sales benefit McKenzie. Stock up on holiday gifts (including McKenzie gear) and help our school at the same time!

Sponsor a new library book in honor of your child's birthday!

They will pick from the librarian's selections, will be the first to check it out, and have a dedication sticker added. Summer birthdays are celebrated on half birthdays. Don't forget to both fill out the form and check out.

Friends of the Wilmette Public Library Pop-Up Shop

Friends of the Wilmette Public Library invites you to our Pop-Up Shop September 9, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Wilmette Public Library, 1242 Wilmette Avenue. Items are priced at $1 for picture books, YA Novels, and more; cash only, please. Some proceeds will benefit Maui Friends of the Library.

Destination Imagination (DI) is open for registration.

DI is a STEAM problem-solving competition for kids K-12. The teams of 4-6 kids have parent coaches, create a skit 100% made by kids, and present at a tournament. More information, including info sessions and the sign-up form at the Wilmette DI page.

First Day Coffee and PTA Volunteer Fair

Parents and younger siblings are invited to the Blacktop after dropoff on the first day of school. We will have tables set up to share some of the volunteer opportunities available this school year. Socialize, enjoy some coffee, and sign-up to help at school. See you there!
